In this video i display one of my main focuses in this class and that was to get a bit stronger and gain some weight. I have also gotten in much better shape from this class and my basketball practices. Fitness days were awesome for me to improve my cardio. And the days i was able to work out that improved my strength and i gained some weight from it. My main focus was to strengthen my upper body because i feel like thats where i lack the most strength. In this video i display certain workouts i have done multiple times to improve my strength. Also certain sports we played on non fitness days. I feel like i continued to put in the same work ethic i did in the first semester but i had goals in the beggining of the semester and i achieved them so i think i should get a 93% in this class.

TOC day
During that class in the very beginning the class was very organized and i saw the TOC wasn't being respected the way he should have been. It took a while to pick an activity because the class wasnt paying attention when the teacher was giving out instructions. We took a while to pick a game and start one but when we did there were a couple students that took initiative and set up the nets and got a ball for handball. When we were picking teams students were choosing the teams they wanted to be on and the teacher didnt allow that so he chose the teams. After that we started the game and it went well when we were playing handball and many students were participating in the game. Halfway through the class the TOC decided to change the game to basketball as many students wanted to play that in the beggining of class. That also went well but some students decided to not play basketball and go up to the weight room and lift weights because they didnt like the sport or they thought they wouldnt be passed to in the game.The game went well and everyone who played was involved. Some students who were able to play and werent injured sat on the sidelines and didnt play. Some students maybe thought it was a regular class and that they werent doing anything wrong and some other students knew that some students were very disrespectful but didnt speak up. The TOC in my opinion must have thought that we were a bad class of students because we werent directed. He might have thought some students were good students but just didnt speak up so they werent being leaders in the class.I think Neuf sees that we must have acted out of hand and did some of the same stuff that we do when he is around but he thinks that we should be acting different around the TOC because they arent the same teacher as Neuf and they might be a little bit more strict while neuf is more laid back with students. In the beginning when students were out of hand i didnt really do much to stop it i just made sure i kept my mouth quiet. During the games i played handball and basketball and did my best to keep everyone in the game involved. I didnt say much to stop the other students from saying anything to the TOC because im more shy then other students in the class

What do i want
I wanted to gain weight by working out back and biceps for the day. I did certain bicep exercises such as different kinds of curls. I did 10-15 pounds for curls, i want to get bigger and gain weight so i did less reps and higher weights for my biceps. For my back i didclose grip pullups, chin ups, lat pull downs, and seated cable row. I did around 50-60 pounds for lat pull downs and seated cable row and about 12-14 reps. Pull ups i firstdid chin ups i did 13 the first time but after i steadily declined to 5-6. after for close grip pull ups i did a couple reps. I decided to do this workout because im not very strong and i wanted to gain weight and get stronger. throughout this workout i was thinking on my last couple reps of an excercise to do one or two more because in the end it would be worth it. My idea for this workout came from P90X because it is one of the workouts in the program that i did when i did the program last year. It was one of my favourite workouts so i decided to do this one for the day.

Mid Point Report Card and Questions
1. I think I have been successful this semester because I try my hardest in this class and have improved in many other areas other than fitness. I bring my PE strip everyday and if i am absent or going to be absent i will explain why and have during this semester.
2. I feel my exertion level has been very high, on the beep test i would get 11 which is pretty good and i feel that i match it everyday when i participate in different activities in this class. I have made it higher by going beyond my limits and improving everyday, sometimes i limit it because i may have been sore from the day before or if i feel sick like i have been sometimes in the semester.
3. I always bring a positive attitude when i come to class to improve in my fitness each and everyday.
4. I have brought leadership to this class by cleaning up and setting up games from time to time during class and helping others if they have trouble with a certain activity. I have tried my best to be the best role model for my friends in this class so they improve and have fun too.
5. I plan to gain weight and also improve my fitness for basketball season, i try to eat more and more often to gain weight and at the same time try my hardest during basketball practice and PE to improve my fitness at the same time.

An example is Dwayne Johnson he is 40 years old and he is in better shape and bigger than he was when he was 30 years old. I also learned from my brother that human growth isnt affected by what you eat or if you drink milk it is pre determined from birth.

Doping in sports
I dont think steroids should be allowed in sports because it gives the user and advantage in strength and stamina which is really unfair. This person would be more successful in whatever sport whether its boxing, hockey, basketball, soccer or any other sport. They could out compete opponents just to win games or increase stats and as illegal as it is in Pro sports it needs to be tested more often.

Report Card
So far this course has been successful for me. I continue to do my best and try to get better and better everyday in this class. This is one of my favourite courses because I love physical activity. I have fun everyday even when I am working hard. Many of the activities we have done in this class I enjoyed. Going golfing was an awesome experience with my peers and grouse grind was another tough activity that was worth going too. The past 6 weeks I have tried to be as consistent as I can in this class to get into better shape. Mr. Neufeld has been an excellent teacher and he would have us do activities that are fun that make the class work hard and have fun at the same time. The first 6 weeks of this course have been a success for me. I have learned how to go to my maximum exersion level in fitness tests so I can get in better shape faster. My goals are to get a higher score on the beep test by at least one level and to get my time on the community run to be a couple minutes shorter than what I already got. I hope the rest of the semester is as good as the first 6 weeks or maybe even better.
